first day of school today! had common test the very first period. left one question blank. 2 marks gone. next was geog then reccess. ate prawn noodles dry and it caused me my stomachache later during sci. oh talking abt sci, one good news for you ppl: WE CHANGED SCIENCE TEACHER. bye mr tay, hi mdm hidayah! i sound so mean. haha.

history! distributed the work and stuff. history room is so cold. did argumentative text for eng. i guess i will like it. because im not good at story telling. that's what mrs koh said.

trng afterwards. the stomp is so noisy. i couldnt concentrate please.

tmr going to sch later at 0810. because later in the afternoon we will be having this walkathon thing. dumb.

ONE more day to sch reopen. excited. haha. i miss my friends!

so stayed at home all day. tidied up my room! it's so freaking dusty and my mum's complaining how lazy can we get. haha.

sue-ean's msg woke me up. it was 1146. and i thought trng was at 1330 so i thought i wasn't late. was informed by sue-ean that many ppl are not going for trng, and indeed only me, sue-ean and kelly went for trng. 3 sec 2s turned up for trng today. pathetic huh. called zhuting and bel before that and they said they weren't going for trng. but since sue-ean's going, i decided to go too =D. by the time the conversation ended it was already 1200. and only then was i told that trng was at 1300. hurriedly got myself ready and it was 1222. took a train down to simei then cab down to anglican.

trng's all right. i guess coach was quite shock to see only 3 sec 2s turning up for trng. haha. as usual, did running, basic strokes and played matches. and of course, PT.

sch's re-opening in 3 days time! time passes really really fast!!

haha. so i went alone, for cheers in the end.
and as expected, i was thrashed like mad.
i shall not talk about the score 'cause it's so embarrassing. ='(

okay, so went for trng at tampines sports hall first. trained for like 1.5hours and played a match. yay, we won. changed and proceeded to the mrt station. took to Alujunied. wanted to walk 'cause kelly clearly told me how to. but i guess i have stm and the weather's bloody hot so i took a cab there instead. was told to start the match once i reached there as there were extra courts. yea, so i lost. but im glad the opponent that i played with wasn't that arrogant-looking.

the funny part is here:
once i played my match, i immediately took my bag and left. I flagged a cab and off i went. but suddenly halfway in the cab, i felt that something was wrong. " OH SHIT, I STILL HAVE TO BE THE LINE JUDGE FOR THE NEXT MATCH. " and i told the uncle to turn and bring my back to sbh. and this ride costs me 2.80. arghh. luckily, the next match hasn't started yet! hahaha.

after this match,
1. i guess i wont be coming back next year. never ever.
2. i seriously think i sucked.
3. i realised how low my badminton standard is. im not even up to standard. raaagh!

im staying at home all alone today.

let me seee.

went out with my sis and cousin (joy) yesterday. shall not elaborate on it 'cause im just tooo lazy.
these are the places we went:

1) White sands, Mcdonalds.
2) City Hall, Marina Square.
3) Raffles, Mos Burger
4) Boon Lay, Jurong Point.
5) Bukit Batok, West Mall.
all these in just one day.

1. i realised joy's action is really really slow. *man ban pai. hahaha.
2. i love the conversation on the trip back home.
3. Joy loves Nescafe latte.
4. Boon Lay has a lot of bangladesh people.
5. I went like dont know how many sports shops just for one badminton shoe.

went for the cheers competition today. HOLY SHIT. it's a walkover AGAIN. tWO consecutive times. am i lucky or what? but i dont want that, it makes me feel so uneasy. and worse still, my opponent gets stronger each round. I HAVENT PLAYED A SINGLE MATCH and i made it to round threeee. i rather Irene come today and played with me. no matter win or lose. at least i'll feel better. oh shit, im gonna get thrashed on wed. save me someone. im shouting for help.

woohoo~

watched She's the man with zhuting and isabel yesterday. the movie was very very super duper funny. you should go and watch too. strongly recommend. lasted for abt 2 hours. had to leave early 'cause had dinner at my aunt's house. my niece is cute. =X omg, im an auntie alrd. i sound so old. haha.

trng today, AS USUAL.

going out with my sis and cousin tmr. hope it will be an enjoyable one.

havent been updating ever since aviva ended 'cause nth interesting happened.

had trng today and only 5 sec 2s turned up. did footwork as usual and i partnered isabel today. coach damn mean la. dont want me partner sue-ean! isabel's good anyway. played singles with senior after that. holy shit, i sucked for goodness sake. not because i lost, but because my standard dropped and i did not persevere for every ball. my legs arent as fast anymore and my i couldnt defend a single ball. disappointed. perhaps, im not fighting for my place anymore. others are catching up and im not even improving.

MALAYSIA BADMINTON OPEN
bye singapore, hi malaysia. so, after singapore open, here comes the malaysia open. and it will definitely be more interesting because many good players are playing. Lin Dan, Lee Choong Wei, Zhang Ning, Xie Xingfang and of course, PETER GADE. the first four that i mentioned who were the top 2 seeds did not play in Singapore Open. ='( so i didnt get to see them play. i guess the qualifying round was today and of course all those mentioned got in. i hope GADE can at least make it into the semi-finals based on his seeding. =) but it's gonna be very very tough. a lot more tougher. go peter!

congrats to PETER GADE for winning the AVIVA OPEN 2006 MENs SINGLES!

in the end, i still went to singapore indoor stadium to watch the finals. i wouldnt have gone if peter gade werent playing. thanks chi koong for helping me reserve a sit. it was a very good view. missed the womens doubles and singles. IM GLAD I WAS IN TIME FOR GADE's MATCH. he played well, and he won. as expected. somehow i feel it would be more exciting if it was CHN vs DEN. but too bad, DEN is just too good.

mixed doubles and mens doubles were okay. not really interested. but indonesia won for both. the indonesia doubles were realllly good. you should have seen their defence. it was very good.

overall, the finals weren't really exciting compared to the semi-finals yesterday.

okay, no more aviva anymore. back to homework. i've seriously spent a lot of money and time on this aviva. i should stop now.

HOORAY!

Peter GADE (3) won BAO Chunlai(4).
Kenneth JONASSEN(6) won Chen HONG (7).

both matches are the most exciting ones. thye both had a third set. both the denmark players won the first and lost the second. luckily, they won the third. the whole crowd was like supporting CHINA all the way. and occasionally there were people shouting :" GO, DENMARK!" =D

Chen HONG defeated Kenneth JONASSEN in last year's aviva. so i think JONASSEN should be very happy that he won HONG. Actually, HONG would have won if not for all his careless balls. either they were out, or hit net. sigh.

so GADE will be playing aginst JONASSEN tmr fighting for the champ. Go, Peter.

Peter GADE won Ronald SUSILO. i think he deserved it, because GADE(1) was controlling the game. so, he will be meeting BAO Chunlai(3) later. I hope he wins, but it's gonna be a very very tough fight. Same goes for Kenneth JONASSEN(2). he will be meeting Chen HONG(4). Like what Chi Koong said, it's either den vs den, or chn vs chn, or den vs chn in the finals.

sigh. world no.1 men's doubles (eriksen + lundgaard hansen) had to forfeit the match against england (clark + blair). the first 2 matches were exciting. but something happened to lundgaard hansen's right knee during the rubber set and they had to forfeit it. and so england wins the game. =(

sigh. singapore only hope men's doubles lost to den. third set was 20-22. wth?! it's okay anyway. well done, HENDRA and HENDRY. (they look like twins to me)

i didnt really take note of women's singles and doubles. missed mixed doubles. so congrats to those semi-finalists who will be playing later.

MOST EXCITING MATCH OF THE DAY: Peter GADE (DEN) vs CHEN Yu (CHN).

but still, GADE won in the end. it was a tough fight. 21-11, 23-25, 22-20GADE won the first and lost the second. as for the third, i think everyone was quite disappointed with his performance. He was like leading 20-12 but he let the opponent catch up 20-20 so they had to duce. lost 8 points in a row. my gosh. luckily, he won the 2 points. It would be sad if he didnt get into top 8. He's like world rank no. 3 ? their match took super long okay. the time was 1hr6mins.

know what, when the speaker announced that Peter GADE was playing, the whole court moved to towards court 5 to where GADE is playing. it was funny. others remained to see Ronald SUSILO play in court 3.

talking about Ronald SUSILO, he also had a rubber set. i didnt really see him play his first and second set because i was focusing on GADE's match. but anyway, he was practically stroking for his third set. the balls weren't fast at all. i think they were just competing on stamina. In the end, the VIETNAM opponent gave up and SUSILO thrased him 21-9. his match was also long, even longer than GADE's one. 1hr11mins.

other matches that i noticed would of course be those matches with Singaporean players. Our mixed doubles was thrashed, same goes for our women doubles. As for womens singles, the 2 women ( LI li and XING Aiying) they did quite well as they had a third set but still lost, to CHINA. both. Our mens doubles ( Hendra and Hendry) did well and got into top 8, without any rubber set. =D

SATO could have won. He was fast. but he was tooo careless.

Men's doubles:

so that's how i spent my whole day. watching aviva open. 9am to 10pm

watched aviva open today with pandora. preliminary round. it was okay la, we watched only the mixed singles and mens singles but we left halfway because of trng. met a few seniors and stacey and yvonne (cedar) there too. :)

hmmm. hendra WIJAYA (mixed doubles with Fan Frances LIU) and Peter GADE (mens singles) are my idol. maybe Ronald SUSILO will be my idol too. we'll see, tmr. =D
Denmark players are tall, very tall.

trng today. there were a few DSA students who came for bmt trial. And two of them were from TAO NAN. hard to believe that they actually wanted to come to AHS. perhaps after they had seen how we played today, they would change their mind like what others did. lol.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GRACI!!

hmmm.

just came back from KL not too long ago. took a coach there. it was comfortable. they serve you food and you can watch movie too. watched The Chronicles of Narnia, and a bit of other movies. nice.

4 days 3 nights. it's enough. spent 2 days of shopping and my legs are alrd wobbly. KLCC, Mid Valley Mega Mall and Utamah are nice. they are so big that you can even get lost. did not buy much compared to other trips. and there's a lot of sports shops in malaysia. especially nike and addidas.

trng yesterday. only sue-ean, pandora, chi koong, grace, kelly and i turned up. as usual, running + footwork, then footwork again ( on court ) then we get to stroke. tiring, tiring! luckily, no PT today. oh no, we did skipping. no, only sue-ean. haha. ran for 5 mins after that. but most of them are walking. this time, i went home with sue-ean because pandora has chi koony puny.

tmr's aviva open. should i go? but there's trng later. and it's early in the morning at 9am.
