Flag Day was tiring but meaningful =)

Band ppl had an excuse again and only 3 ppl from 3K turned up! Me Leeying and Eugene! How pathetic, but at least Cip's done with finally.

Met Leeying at City Hall and went to collect our donation stuffs. Tried our luck at Raffles City but we got 'shoo-ed' by the security guard. But that's also the place where i got my first donation. A guy just came up to me and dropped a coin in :)

Apparently Raffles City isnt a good place to ask for donations because the people are practically so busy going to work that they dont even have time to stop and get their wallets out from their bags.

Headed for Tampines.

This is where we really started our job. We went to the road junction just under the MRT track. There are always many ppl crossing the road and most of them are either grandmas, aunties or working adults. We approached them and asked them for donations. Some responded with a few coins while Some rejected with a smile. Even though they didnt donate, the feeling is great when they smile back to you because.. it's just a natural feeling! Leeying and i were standing at different places but her 'position' got more people!! Leeying is so nice to change place with me!

Our target was 40 flags. But in the end we managed to sell twice our target which is 80! I feel so accomplished =D 1 Hour

Anglican High School.

Went there to submit my compo which is supposedly due today but jon just told me it's by friday! @%#$@^ Another purpose was to pass cherine her present =) ASked donations around in sch too. I thought a 2 dollar-note is generous enough but a teacher donated 10 bucks! God will bless you!

While walking down we met Choon Hwee and Wen Mei. Hehe, they each donated twoo dollars to me and leeying! yay!

Trained back to City Hall to submit the donations as it was about time. Wanted to make it 4 hrs so leeying and i went to eat Fried Mars Bars first yumm! Opp the dount stall's business is really good! i feel sad for the shops around it. =/ Anyway, we popped by the Soup Spoon restaurant where a murder case happened recently. It wasnt opened, because they had to attend their colleague's wake? yeah it will be opened tmr!

Met up with my sis at TAMpines for lunch and im home.

wah i guess i can memorise the stations in order alrd.

Sigh i've caught the flu bug and im having a little sore throat. LEGS aching like shit
